Breast Lift
Weight changes or breast feeding can lead to over stretching of the skin and
descent of the nipple position. The volume of the breast is considered well adapted to
the silhouette of the patient, but position and shape is not aesthetically pleasing. The
excess skin can be removed and the breast mount replaced at it's physiological position.
The resulting scar is an inverted-T, or a lollypop. There should be no changes in sensitivity or breast feeding capacity. As usual scar care after the operation has to be meticulous in order to have a nice and as inconspicuous result as possible. Adequate support will prevent recurrence.
