Arm/ thigh Lift

Last resort surgery, when the skin laxity is not corrected by the
body, a plastic surgery procedure is indicated. The excess is resected
(scars are one of the prices to pay) and the tissue is stretched to restore
a better shape to the limb and allow for more tonicity. Arm lift (dermolipectomy) scars are located on the inner side of the arm. Thigh lift scars can be only in the bikini line and /or on the inner thigh. Which ever the location Dr Blaga insists upon the importance of postoperative scar care, so as to avoid wide and unaesthetic scars.
This type of surgery is often done in conjunction with a body lift (most of the time following massive weight loss) when the skin has been over overstretched and normal elasticity is overwhelmed.

The arm /thigh lift will correct the skin laxity which follows a weight loss of 30+ Kg! When the skin has been so massively over stretched, only surgery can correct this laxity. The resulting scar is a small price to pay compared to the amelioration of the body shape.
Circular skin tightening restores the normal body contour after massive weight loss!
